Have you ever wanted to do something but thought you couldn’t? Maybe you were told you would never be able to do it. Ok, some dreams are unrealistic. When I was a kid I wanted to be an all pro- wide receiver. Pretty unrealistic for a short slow fat kid. J Seriously we have talked about some really serious things this week but here is the deal… As a non-profit agency we only want to see you empowered to improve your life as well as the lives of our children.
Do you know there are programs set up to help children go to college? Take a look at the “Oklahoma’s Promise” program at www.okpromise.org. The Oklahoma Legislature has set up a unique program for eighth-, ninth- and 10th-grade students (homeschooled students must be age 13, 14 or 15) that will help pay for their college education if their family’s income is $50,000 or less at the time the student applies for the program.
This is money that can be used for a business start up, buying your first home or higher education!! No kidding…That means $2000 can become $6000. That is better odds than Vegas!!!

I will leave you with this… Never let anyone tell you that YOU can’t be what YOU want to be. Take control of your life and never give up! The last lines of my favorite poem say it best…
Never give up!!
