Living within your means

So often today we find ourselves living outside our means. The desire to have the newer or better is driving us into poverty faster that a shiny new car. Living within your means simply means you will have the money to do more of what you want later.Drive a cheaper car and take a vacation!

Your kids will still love you even if they don’t get the $300 iPod or $400 Android phone. Sometimes it costs so much less but means so much more to just say no!! Your kids just might thank you for the lesson later in life.

We want to hear from you. How have you guided your children to live within the family’s means? What were some of the difficulties you faced?
